Patience

Ya know , I think back to that scene where Kathy Bates's character rams her car into that young girls VW bug in the movie -" Fried Green Tomatoes".

She said and I quote -" Face it girls. I'm older n have more insurance !" I laughed at that even in my 20's. I guess as we age , we gotta take the wins... even if it's just having more insurance.

But honestly , I am waiting for more patience!!!

I think I thought I would calm down and gain more of it as I aged. I was wrong. But then again , I did not give enough respect to the hormone flux game and the total havoc getting older would reak on my body chemicals. So there's that !

But in my devotional reading today , it was about patience. Hmmm. Someone trying to tell me something?

So I guess I will pray for more of it. And in the meanwhile , appreciate the lessons being "older" have taught me.
