Hope is a thing with wings

Hope is my “credo” I think you would say. It’s not something i had a lot of growing up. But that’s a drama for another day. And ironically, I started to truly focus on hope and being more positive after my Dad died in 2011 at the age of 66. ( I’m now 55!) My mom was grieving and told me that there was no hope that day! I knew she was hurting so I kind of let it roll off my shoulders but it still stayed on my mind. Then in 2013, we moved to a town whose high school mascot was a sailor and the “anchor” was part of their emblem.

Hebrews 6:19, “This HOPE is your anchor” became my favorite Bible verse. It’s the subject of my tattoo I let myself get last spring as a reward for confronting and dealing with 16 medical issues I had been ignoring and let pile up ( I know. I know! Shame on me )

Soooo my point ? Hope has become my anchor … to more positive living , way better health and definitely a much better attitude n outlook on life. And today I’m living a very happy and full life … a life I never woulda guessed I could live 10 years ago. I’ve got new friends , I teach classes, I have a ton of business connections and my life just continues to grow n change in wonderful ways !!!

At 55, it’s not too late ! Nothing is set in stone. If you don’t like how your life is going , you CAN change it. I promise!

Find your anchor and hold on baby !!!
